Uncaged Monkeys: Night of 200 billion stars, with Robin Ince, Brian Cox and last but certainly not least Tim Minchin

We went to see Uncaged Monkeys: Night of 200 billion stars last night. It was the last show of the tour, and very enjoyable too. Robin Ince is very amusing and fast, Brian Cox was engaging even speaking of hardcore particle physics, Simon Singh did a very interesting talk about the Enigma machine, and Tim Minchin blew us away with a brilliant set. He is a genius, in his own (perhaps not scientific) way. Great pianist, too.

It absolutely poured down afterwards, and we took cover in a restaurant and had some late pizza. And onwards. It was a lovely evening.

This morning saw snow. It couldn’t possibly have stayed – it is not cold enough for snow, even if it cold enough to be cold. The Christmas holidays are approaching. I don’t know if I look forward to it or not.
