One Dot Zero launch, Battle of Ideas and Brighton White Night 2011(with the West Street Story)

We met in London on Friday evening, after the One Dot Zero launch party. Garth’s for kip, then Battle of Ideas in the morning – a very lively event, with lots of interesting debates.

The programme carried on (and on) with White Night back in Brighton. The Sallis Benney gig went well, and then the general mayhem in town afterwards. The Basement had a Heaven/Hell theme, the Dome was hopping and we had a really good dance. West Street seemed to have died an early death and was quite bleak by the time we got there.

We did not paint the town red all night – it had been an intense day already – but retreated in some style while it was still dark. Today we had a truly lovely, leisurely day, and were even quite creative for a bit.

Now an attempt to reengage with normal reality. For a little while, anyway.
