Sussex countryside – green hills (and hollows)

Driving around Sussex this time of the year is delightful. Green and lush, narrow winding lanes (with zero visibility!) and rolling hills. Very picturesque.

Quite windy though! It has been a gorgeous sunny weekend, but in the wind there has not been that much warmth. It took hiding in hollows to find the warmth of the sun. But there was warmth. Enough to greet the spring in a suitably traditional (even primal) fashion.

We had some lovely seafood last night, and a leg of goat (back to the primal theme again). The spring should consider itself well and truly greeted!
