Chihuli exhibition in Boston

One word – wow. I came out of the Chihuli exhibition at the MFA high as a kite on colours, light, reflections, shadows and shapes. I haven’t given captions to the Chihuli photos – there are too many… So beautiful. I truly blew my mind. I had trouble finding my way out of the ladies’ after I came out of the exhibition, and it took me a couple of hours to normalise.

My photos don’t do justice to the scale of the pieces in the exhibition, nor of the beauty of the reflections and shadows, but I hope they give a flavour of the gorgeous colours and light.

Afterward, we went for a windy, chilly walk around South Station and the harbour, and popped into a very chic little design warehouse mall with frightening price tags and very beautiful things. I had to go back to the hotel to thaw in a hot shower after our harbour walk. We finished the day in Cambridge, at a reasonable Thai restaurant which was incredibly busy.
