More New York pics and things

Four intense days on Manhattan, covering a fair bit of ground and doing many things. We have been staying in Tribeca, and ventured as far as the very north tip of Manhattan and the Cloisters. Plus a lot in between, and the Circle Line around the whole thing.

We have had quite a lot of good food (the Fatty Crab in West Village is recommended – try the crispy pork belly and watermelon salad), some unfortunate margaritas, a magic experience, visited the Frick and the Guggenheim museums, and many impressions of low- and high-grade madness.

I was walked around one day by Jon, who showed me many interesting features of West Village and Chelsea – a vibrant area.

My feet contemplated divorcing me on several occasions, but we have got over that rocky patch and are now back on speaking terms. I wish I had the cheek to take photos of people in the street and in the subway, but I just don’t.
