Tribeca, Manhattan

We are in New York! A long flight, followed by a minibus journey that seemed even longer. But we are now installed in our hotel, and I hassled the front desk until they got the router reset, so now there is also wifi.

Walked from Tribeca to the Flatiron and back this evening, taking in the general atmosphere, looking up, down and around a lot, and eating and drinking when needed. The physical inertia of air travel has pretty much been banished.

And all seems to be well with the world back home, which feels good.
