A&E weekend

That sounds dramatic! But it has nothing to do with Accident & Emergency, and everything to do with Emma & Adam (in reverse order). I haven’t seen Emma for so long, and it was great to spend some time together.

Gabriel Orozco at Tate Modern was interesting, especially the room with the adapted pool table, and more specifically the photographs in there. Afterwards, a stroll along the Thames and then to Stamford Hill.

Later, we all went to Stoke Newington for dinner at the Three Crowns. Lovely evening. It was Purim, and all the kids were out in the street late at night. Very festive!

Lateish night, with lots of music being played as a form of communication, some dancing. Then sleep, blessed sleep. Lazy breakfast with A&E followed on Sunday morning, with Emma and myself doing nerdy research online.

Columbia Road flower market, and then Brick Lane. We mooched with the best of them, and managed to spend a very pleasant day indeed together.
