Amazing landing

Finding myself, for the first time in so very long, able to land in myself, at home. Solitude sustains my ability to deal with the world. It is like waking up. I have no idea how I have managed for so long without it. It feels like I have been a facsimile of myself for vast stretches of the roads I have travelled the past year.

I went to Sarah’s hen thing part one last night, Grease by Moonlight at the cricket grounds. I had to go straight from work, so I didn’t touch down at home yesterday at all. I was not sure what to expect, but we ended up having a very good time. The girls knew the lyrics, and we were probably the loudest posse there, singing along and occasionally standing up to dance.

Afterwards we went to the Farm and carried on there for some time. An excellent time was had by all, and I will upload some photos tomorrow or so.
