Embodied cognition

From the New Scientist, a short piece on whether the body does part of our abstract thinking.. The examples they give are pretty basic, but I am very much in favour of this direction of thought.

Wikipedia: Embodied cognition. Edelmann and Damásio crop up again. Also Enactivism. Maturana and Varela, whom I have previously looked at re. autopoesis, have contributed to enactivism.
